It’s beginning to feel like summer! With the days starting to feel warmer, pre-covid London was always fun to be out and about in the few days of sun. With summer 2021 approaching we are defiantly looking forward to going out again. A lot of places are introducing Order & Pay app meaning you can order your food and drink via the app saving you a trip to the bar! There are a few pop-ups happening this summer!!
Fullers Shakespeare in The Garden
We all love a cold beer on a hot day, add a little comedy, romance, and adventure, we have the perfect mix with Fuller’s Shakespeare in the garden. Preforming 64 shows across 39 pubs from Bristol to Greenwich. They have 2 plays this summer; “As you like it” and “Love Labour’s lost” from the 13th July till 16th September. The show is suitable for all ages and so is an excuse to take the whole family.
Skylight Canalside
Skylight is teaming up with KERB this year! From Saturday 1st May 2021 they will be taking over the Quayside area at Tobacco Dock, with this unique partnership on the well-loved rooftop. Fundi Pizza and Tongue & Cheek will be first in the line-up of food experiences that will take place every Saturday in May.
Not forgetting the array of beers, wines and spirits as well as an all-new seasonal cocktail menu – all delivered to your table!
The Big London Bake
Always wanted to know if you had it in you to be the Star Baker? Well now you have the perfect opportunity to head to the famous tent and team up with a friend to find out if you have what it takes. This summer every month has a different theme: April is Mille-Feuille month, June is all about the French Meringue, July is marshmallow cone month and August is Dome Cloud cake month. The experience is 90 min, and the tent has 12 cooking stations (teams of 2), you will get instructions, tools ingredients and tips to create your masterpiece.
Gin House Burlesque
If you love the golden age of Jazz and vintage glamour, the Gin House Burlesque is the place to go. The event will take place over 4 floors, you will be presented with snake charmers, fire eaters, magicians, and live music, through combining the energy of New Orleans. Internationally renowned burlesque performers Miss Betsy Rose, Jolie Papillon and Missy Fatale have come together to create an interactive vintage cabaret experience unparalleled on the current London nightlife scene.
The Greatest Brunch
Look out coz here they come…. Join the circus and the cast of the West End singers and freaks! Sing your heart out and dance along in this all singing all dancing brunch experience. With bottomless prosecco to get you started, enjoy your 2 course brunch and 5 hours of show and after party till 5pm! This show is for limited time only so get your tickets before the circus leaves town!
Midnight Apothecary
Picture this, you are on the rooftop garden, the sun is setting, fire pit is roaring, cool cocktail in hand, and cuddling up with your mates, sound too perfect! This summertime bring this magic to life on the candlelit roof of the Brunel Museum, which specialised in seasonal botanical cocktails with ingredients homegrown in the garden! To keep safe, they have introduced individual firepits for hire with s’more kits and table service for cocktails and BBQ served from the Terrace by Mayflower pub.
The Southbank BBQ Club
“King Of The Pop-Ups” Jimmy Garcia is back, with a pop up like no other! Relax and enjoy cooking a 6-course dinner with expert chefs to help you along the way. Located on the Southbank riverside Jimmy and his team will bring you a show-stopping interactive menu using time-honoured barbecue techniques, perfect to soak up the summer vibes!
Midsummer Dream at the Blue Mansion
The theme is blue to celebrate The Mansion for 10 years anniversary this summer. Located at a Private venue disclosed only 48 hours before the event! All we know is it will be a rooftop with a panoramic terrace, beautiful lounges and a dance floor somewhere in Moorgate. Expect a wide range of entertainment from tarot reading to makeup artist to add an extra touch of blue and even an exclusive art exhibition by Miaggio Art Consultancy.
Aperol Garden at The Refinery Bankside
If you want a pop up that is Instagram worthy, then head over to the Refinery bankside to escape into the Aperol Garden, complete with deckchairs, festoon lighting and a flower wall. The postcard style menu offers the perfect summer drinks for sharing with drinks sharing tree and Charcuterie or mezze board Aperitivio style.
The Folly
As we all know the English weather is not always sunshine, and even during our much-awaited summer, we would expect a few days of rain. That’s why The Folly is perfect, it brings the outside inside! The Rosé retreat is an homage to everything floral and fuchsia, from the garden-inspired lounge to private dining rooms. It is perfect for all-day drinking and dining and unwinding.
